This Portfolio (document holder/satchel) is made from recycled leather. Recycled leather is a novel design material which has been in use for many years. It is also known as bonded leather. It is made from leather waste, which generally ends up in landfill. These unused pieces of leather are milled (ground) then mixed with a bonding agent and then rolled out into sheets to create useful products like this portfolio.
